About Guillermo
I was born and raised in Mexico City and I currently live in Southern California. I have been learning and practicing photography for 22 years. I started when I was 14 years old in a workshop during middle school. Since then, I have worked as a dark-room instructor for several years, have participated in several group exhibitions, collaborated with magazines, and sold art to interesting clients.
Currently, one of my passions is to take photographs that require a lot of planning: get immersed in maps (topography maps, dark sky maps, weather maps), researching the timing for the perfect night sky, planning flights based on radar maps (schedule, seat), and researching advanced photography techniques.
